NPIRA Judging Seminar

The NPIRA hosted a rodeo judging seminar on Saturday, April 30 at Crow Agency, Montana.  Seventeen students successfully completed the judging seminar.  The instructor was Rick Smith, NRA certified judge.  The purpose of the seminar was to create a pool of trained rodeo judges who are not already certified through other associations. These judges can be utilized at NPIRA sanctioned events throughout the summer rodeo season. 

Participants went through morning classroom work at the Little Big Horn Casino discussing NPIRA general rodeo rules as well as specific rules for all events.  In the afternoon, they watched live events at the Edison Real Bird Memorial Complex and put their newly learned knowledge to work.
